RECRUITMENT

STUDIO MANAGER

A well-known group in premium surface materials will open a kitchen studio and showroom in a prime location in Stockholm at the end of November 2024. The studio will offer high-end, European contemporary style kitchens made of high-quality materials.

To run this first retail venture, we are looking for a consumer-focused Studio Manager who will be the engine for the studio’s start and development. With enthusiasm you will make a real difference to both clients and your team. You will be a key person, with responsibility for creating an inspiring studio and successful kitchen designs.

THE ROLE

You will enter at an exciting stage of the company’s development with the opportunity to contribute to developing the brand and its offerings. The Studio Manager joins as soon as possible and combines kitchen design with general management, overseeing the entire studio operations. This includes:

- Giving reliable and inspiring kitchen design advice to customers

- Designing kitchens

- Building and managing a small team of designers, in line with estimated demand

- Managing basic business processes like order management, managing the kitchen installations present at the studio

- Face of the studio, communicating both internally and externally

- Ensuring that day-to-day activities run smoothly, and that the studio is representative and inviting at any moment

- Gathering best practices and customer feedback for the Stockholm and possible future stores

YOUR BACKGROUND

- Education in architecture or interior design

- At least 5 years as a designer of premium kitchens or equivalent with an excellent feel for contemporary design and aesthetics

- Previous experience as manager

- Business oriented and with an entrepreneurial spirit

- Service oriented, establishing a new brand with reliability requires the focused buildup of a strong reputation

- Self-propelling and disciplined - as this is the first Lab that will be set-up and the reporting line is at a distance, a pro-active nature is required to identify and solve any unforeseen issues that arise

- In terms of personality “high ethics, low ego” fits well with the culture of the group – translating into integrity, responsibility and transparency

- Fluency in Swedish and English is required, other European languages are considered an asset.
